Terms of Use

1. Agreement

By downloading or using Roambook ("the app") you agree to these Terms of Use and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. License

You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Roambook on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store terms.

3. Free version and Roambook Pro

• The free version lets you keep one trip, with every feature available on it.
• Roambook Pro unlocks unlimited trips and removes the "Made with Roambook" line from exported files.
• Exporting a trip is available to everyone, including the free version.
• Roambook Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. It is charged once to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase and does not renew.
• Because it is a one-time purchase tied to your Apple ID, you can restore it on your devices using "Restore purchase" in the app.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms, not by the developer.

4. Reminders are best effort

Roambook can remind you about a trip that is starting or has just ended, but notification delivery depends on your device settings and on iOS. Reminders are a convenience, not a guarantee.

5. Planning your travel is your responsibility

Roambook is a personal organization tool. It is not a travel agency, booking service, or source of travel, legal, medical, or financial advice. It does not make bookings and does not verify that a place exists, is open, is safe, or is reachable.

You remain responsible for your own bookings, tickets, visas, insurance, border and entry requirements, opening hours, and safety decisions. The developer is not liable for missed flights, closed venues, cancelled plans, travel disruption, or any resulting losses.

Map data, place search results, and country information come from Apple's mapping services and may be incomplete or out of date.

6. Your data

Your trips, photos, and notes are stored on your device and, if iCloud is enabled, in your personal iCloud. See the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for keeping your device and iCloud account backed up. The developer has no copy of your data and cannot recover it for you.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse engineer, resell, or use the app in any unlawful way.

8. Termination

These terms remain in effect while you use the app. Uninstalling the app ends the license. A completed one-time purchase remains associated with your Apple ID under Apple's terms.

9. Warranty disclaimer

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time; the current version is always published at this address. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
